Purple Top Turnips -Open Pollinated, Heirloom Seeds

This turnip produces round roots that are white under the soil line and purple top.  The flesh is bright white, crispy and mild tasting.  The younger leaves can be eaten raw as a salad green, and more mature leaves can be cooked similarly to spinach.  This variety of turnip is best harvested when it reaches 3-4" in diameter.
