Italian parsley has a fresh clean taste with slight peppery notes. Adding flat leaf parsley to a dish brings out the flavours of the other ingredients. The leave, stems and roots of the parsley plants are edible. Use leaves in fresh salads, soups or as garnish on many dishes. The stems can be used blended into sauces such as chimichurri as well as added into stock. The roots can be cooked just as you would carrot or parsnip.
