Hi-oleic Valencia Peanut - Certified Organic Seeds

These hi-oleic Valencia peanuts have been grown in southern Ontario for several years and have proven to be fully adapted. As a bonus, they are higher yielding than other short-season varieties.

Some naturally occurring peanuts were found to contain a very high proportion of oleic acid, which makes the oil literally as healthy as olive oil! 

Using conventional breeding through pollination (not GMO), plant scientists have crossed a hi-oleic variety with traditional Valencia peanuts to come out with hi-oleic, short-season Valencia peanuts.

- Weights include shell - shells protect the seeds until they are ready to be planted.  Approximate number of Seeds are listed.    Weights are slightly over to account for possibility of receiving underdeveloped kernals.
