Mouse Melon aka Cucumelon is a fruit that resembles a love child made by a watermelon and a cucumber.  Its genus places it in the gourd family.

However, as soon as you bite into a mouse melon you will taste cucumber, but with a citrusy kick .

Mouse melon can be eaten raw (no need to peel!) , pickled, sauteed, or even add them to your favourite cocktail!
