Toma Verde Tomatillo - Heirloom, Non GMO Seeds

Toma Verde is a relatively disease resistant member of the nightshade family.  This fruit originated from Mexico and Central America.

The tomatillo resembles a green tomato but is wrapped in a paper husk, also known as a lantern. The fruit is very dense and tart and is most commonly used to make salsa verde but can also be used in sauces, add tang to guacamole and even be turned into jam!
